Welcome to Williams and Bunkell Fishmongers! We are a traditional fishmonger shop based in Claygate, Surrey, where we have been trading since 1985. With over 30 years’ experience and a well established reputation in Surrey, we pride ourselves on providing you with the best quality fresh fish and shellfish.

We source our products with the greatest care, and where possible, from around Britain.

our opening Hours

We are open from 8am-5pm, Tuesday to Friday and 8am-4pm on Saturday. We are closed on Sunday and Monday.

Home smoked salmon

We have won Great Taste stars for our home smoked salmon in 2014, 2016 and 2018! In Great Taste terms, to win a star for a product means that it is ‘simply delicious’ and that it differentiates a product from the norm. It will have been judged by a minimum of 10 palates.

Here’s what sets our smoked salmon apart from the rest:

  • We smoke and hand slice it ourselves.
  • We use the finest quality Shetland salmon from small independent farms.
  • We dry cure it for 24 hours before smoking it over pure oak for 18 hours.
